The LBRT is an association of teachers who have specialized in assisting children and adults with learning problems. Remedial teachers help pupils/clients at school or in their own practice.
The LBRT aims at the quality control of remedial teaching and the professionalism of the remedial teacher, within all forms of education. Apart from that it serves the interest of its members.
The LBRT employs a professional profile for the remedial teacher with an accompanying code of conduct. By membership each member is obliged to act according to the code. As a guarantee for the professionalism of a remedial teacher and the quality of his remedial teaching the LBRT developed a registration procedure.
