Code of conduct for remedial teachers
- The remedial teacher ought to keep Dutch Law.
- The remedial teacher ought to act after the contents and spirit of the professional code.

- The remedial teacher ought to give any client the treatment that is best for him/her.
- The remedial teacher ought to give an indication of the cost involved before the treatment.

from the nature of the matter.

further explanation, with due respect for article 14 of the code of conduct.

code of conduct.
- The remedial teacher ought to encourage good teamwork between the various persons involved.
- The remedial teacher ought to meet his/her teacher colleagues with respect and preparedness to exchange
knowledge.
- The remedial teacher ought to keep client accounts in a correct way.
- The remedial teacher ought to make a report of his/her work, so that he/she can account for his/her method.
- The remedial teacher ought to keep the reports mentioned in article 22 for a minimum of 5 years. After concluding
the treatment and after these 5 years the remedial teacher is obligated to destroy the reports mentioned in article
22, at an appropriate moment.
With respect to not complying with the professional profile and the accompanying code of conduct the client, resp.
the parents/guardians and anyone else who is also aware of it has the right to file a complaint with the board of
the LBRT.
