The LBRT has a General and an Executive Committee. The General Council acts on behalf of the General Assembly. The Executive Committee is responsible for general affairs and the work on the National Bureau Bunnik.

On the National Bureau regulates they include the membership and subscription records. The LBRT has a little over 3,000 members and 1,700 subscribers. For information about the association and about remedial teaching can be at the National Office by telephone and written contact. The office staff also support the national and regional activities and they have a coordinating role with respect to training and development of products.

The association is divided into sixteen regions. Each region has a contact region, which is part of a regional board. Twice a year there is a Kaderdag which regional boards and the General Council to exchange views concerning the conduct of union policy.
